Here I'm weighing the soundboard after voicing it by refining the braces.

Prior to this I weighed the soundboard before gluing on the brace blanks.

Now I know precisely how much mass my braces have. I use that information to compare to my other instruments. It's one important part of both duplicating a previous result and developing a new model or variation.
